We at Awesome Motive are searching for a Human Resource Coordinator responsible for supporting the overall employee experience and managing the day-to-day HR functions like Team Member Engagement, Onboarding, Offboarding, HRIS, Coordinate Benefits, Creating and analyzing reports, and Administrative Tasks.

Common responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Improve/update HR Policies.
  • Serves as a liaison between employees and management.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence (reminders, announcements, reports).
  • Assist with the completion of onboarding formalities.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives.
  • Respond to team member inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Support the performance review process.
  • Compile HR data and generate reports as required.
  • Administer benefits plans, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Assist in creating policies, processes, and documents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR department.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes, principles, standard policies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and/or Google Docs, and HRIS software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
  • Personal Computer with Internet Access.
  • Availability to participate in audio/video meetings between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm ET.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Relevant Certification or coursework in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of WordPress
