The impact you will have: 

• • Serve as the trusted advisor/owner of machine learning enablement at Databricks
  • Provide technical leadership to guide curriculum initiatives on machine learning
  • Work with subject-matter-experts and learning architects to scope and build machine learning enablement material to enable our global customers, partners, and employees

What we look for:

• • Passion/experience for sharing knowledge and expertise to enable others
  • 3+ years of hands-on industry ML experience in at least one of the following:
    • ML Engineer: Build and maintain production-grade cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure that supports the deployment of ML applications, including drift monitoring.
    • Data Scientist: Experience with the latest techniques in natural language processing including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying LLMs with tools such as HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience communicating and/or teaching technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences alike
  • Passion for collaboration, life-long learning, and driving business value through ML
  • [Preferred] Experience working with Apache Spark to process large-scale distributed databases
