AI Engineer Orange County

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI solutions for various projects, including internal search engines, anomaly detection, and renewal opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an internal search engine that delivers accurate results, references sources, and suggests refined searches using solutions like Azure AI Search.
  • Create and deploy anomaly detection systems to monitor sales performance, identify wins/issues, and alert relevant managers.
  • Build tools to provide account managers with comprehensive insights into customer engagements, profitability, and support costs for renewal prioritization.
  • Optimize license usage by leveraging data and product suite knowledge.
  • Extend the internal search project to support additional business units, ensuring stakeholder approval and determining the scope of internal vs. client-facing applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project plans, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Stay current with the latest AI technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our AI capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an AI Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful AI projects.
  • Proficiency in AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Experience with search technologies and solutions, such as AzureAI Search.
  • Expertise in anomaly detection and statistical analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data management, data preprocessing, and data visualization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM).
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience in the sales industry or with sales-related AI applications.
  • Project management skills and experience with agile methodologies.
