The System Administration team is a central pillar of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a Cloud Native Support Engineer to support the Cloud Native Products. What to expect: 

• Provide support to Vultr customers for our Cloud Native products:
  • Managed Kubernetes
  • Vultr LoadBalancers
  • Vultr API
  • Container Registry
  • CDN
• Assist in building out documentation for internal and external customers on new and existing products
• Work closely with the Cloud Native Engineering team

Our ideal candidate will have: 

• Linux Administration
• Enterprise Networking experience
• Experience using Helm
• Deploying infrastructure with Terraform
• Kubernetes Experience
  • Preferably able to spin up a kubernetes cluster un-aided.
  • Kubernetes certification preferred
• HAproxy load balancer administration/configuration
• On-call support required
• Ability to write cogent and useful documentation to train other team members
• Excellent communication skills

Compensation

$95,000 – $105,000

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
